I went to CCEC to open an account for my kids and even though I forgot half the documentation at home, Puja Patel made it so that I could still open the accounts without having to make another trip to the bank. I really appreciated her flexibility and how smoothly things went.
I've been at this bank since I was 10 and I will never leave!!! Even with the merger and changeover in staff, folks are still so kind and attentive, which I really value.

I was apprehensive when Community Savings took over the CCEC Credit Union. I had established long personal relations with the staff there. As the CCEC staff were long time employees most have retired after the merger. I have found the change in staff and procedures seamless, and I still have the personal service I have grown to expect. I've had my mortgages with CCEC/CSCU for several years and have always been so impressed with the service. The "small business" like feel has made it so I've never felt like I was just a number, as I am at other institutions. I am admittedly somewhat mortgage illiterate, but employees at CCEC/CSCU have always taken the time to speak with me and answer my questions. Truly top notch service.
I have recently sold my home and have purchased another one. For my new house, I am using a mortgage broker (for reasons not related to CCEC/CSCU) and it's all had to come together quite quickly. I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Sahil, who has been very quick to respond to my questions and very quickly close out my mortgage. Sahil has been friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He has truly taken a tremendous amount of weight off my shoulders with how quickly he was able to make it all come together.
I'd also like to commend Sahil's colleague Muhammad, who once spoke with me on the phone for a good amount of time when Sahil was not available. He not only answered all of my questions, but he took time out of his day to do some calculations that I hadn't even thought of. He truly went above and beyond during our call.
Sahil and Muhammad are absolute gems - I truly hope they know (and are told) how fantastic they are at their jobs, and that they are both just wonderful human beings. I've had mortgages at many financial institutions and CSCU is the only one that I would truly recommend to my friends and family. Sahil and Muhammad, you are both so appreciated. It's employees like you that make me want to come back to CSCU one day, and I surely will. (CSCU - give these men raises!!)

This has got to be the worst financial institution in all of Vancouver. It's painful trying to do a transaction with these people. I've dealt with various credit unions in the past without any issues but CC is a nightmare to deal with. Best to take your money elsewhere folks!

As a long time member of CCEC, the transition was rough. Worst of all was losing the old staff, who were like friends after so long. The new format has not been easy to work with.

Traveling in another country with my debit card has been tricky this time around, because of incompatable systems. There is a crucial number on the back that our cards lack. This needs be addressed.

However, running into serious trouble with the new verification system, Jordan Lu has provided invaluable assistance. His patience and persistence over the last few days as he talked me through the various procedures was really outstanding. I am eternally grateful
