Recently I started working in Fort Macleod and was recommended to go to Buffalo Pawn as I had some stuff I was looking to sell. I didn't want to deal with Kijiji or eBay, I prefer to deal with someone in person.

I went in after work Friday, March 8th and boy I was glad I did. The guy that helped me was great! Chatted it up with me, was respectful of my items and of my time. Probably the best Pawn shop experience I've had in my life to be honest.

I don't usually do reviews or recommendations but wanted to take the time to share my experience and thank the business!

There was a signed stated they will be at 2:30pm, we got there close to 2:40pm, waiting until 3:10 & left.
Maybe four other vehicles came and left as they waited for a few minutes.
Hopefully better luck next time.

Tracey the new owner of this business is down to earth and just a real person. She is straight and she is fair. She has gone out of her way to help me and a lot of people I know and her job isn't always easy everyone thinking their stuff is worth more than it actually is. She is gonna do good things here

No customer service skills
I had called to this business to ask if they accepted a product a woman answered the phone did not introduce herself and when the question was asked the answer was very quick and abrupt NO and then the other end of the line went dead. I WAS HUNG UP ON! This was detouring as a costumer. Another time a friend and I had gone in to inquire about selling a ring and the gentleman stated the this item was worthless and must have came out of a crackerjack box. This was very offending the item was not purchased from a crackerjack box but was purchased from a jewelry store. So I have now been offended and deterred from visiting this establishment.

Asked to see a Milwaukee charger for an 18 volt battery. He said it was 150.00. I asked if that was the best he could do. He said yes.They sell for $300.00 in the store he says. I bought one at Home Depot. Same one for $59.00 new. Thankfully I didn't buy it there. No skills at salesmanship or customer service.

Good deals! Some neat items in the store. The ladies that I've dealt with at the store are awesome, down to earth and very reasonable to deal with. I will come back to buy or sell.

I called to ask if stolen property could be looked out for. The lady who answered was absolutely abhorrent. Short and rude. Don't ever go here. What a terrible establishment.
