Great customer service (Simran, out of the Vancouver office). Informative, patient, and kind. Very competitive prices and willing to negotiate and adjust depending on variables offered and acceptable in conversation. What I have yet to experience is a level of customer service when an accident or claim occurs! This will be the real test. Nevertheless, for setting the stage and helping me establish insurance, 10/10!

They have 0 clue with what they are doing and are a complete disgrace. They wrote my vehicle off and continued to charge me for insurance for 2 months after. I ended up ensuring my next car and called asking for a refund for the two months they charged me for insurance when they legally could not have charged and they told me they’d have to give me a new quote because I had a two month gap which was because of them and the new quote was more than double the original quote. Me and my family have been with this insurance company for over 5 years and I insure my house with them too and I will definitely be canceling both.

I had an accident at no fault. I filled out the claim through the their app. Waiting for their adjustors to call to provide a spare vehicle for the second day of the accident. I have to use Uber for my family till they find time to follow-up though I pay two ways full insurance. The app is locked so I can't access the claim process. Disappointing service.

We have had our Home and Auto Insurance for many years with Belairdirect which was formerly Intact Insurance and even before that Johnson Insurance. But we have not switched because they find us the discounted rates for Health Care Nurses and Teachers. They actually answer the phone when you need assistance which is RARE with most companies ( Telus, RBC Bank, Rogers, etc) , and can process a change to our policy immediately over the phone. For example; buying a new car and needing Insurance. The customer service representatives have always been pleasant and knowledgeable and THEY SPEAK ENGLISH! The call is NOT outsourced to "another country". What a concept. I would recommend this Insurance Company to anyone.
