RBC funds climate disaster, as they are the biggest funder of fossil fuels in Canada, and fifth dirtiest bank in the world. When I posted some flyers at the Smithers ATM about RBC being the major funder of CoastalGasLink pipeline, which violates Indigenous rights going through unceded, sovereign Wet'suwet'en territory without consent of the hereditary chiefs, an RBC employee came out of the bank and became very angry with me. He told me he was calling the police after I'd barely said 2 words. I said I was leaving and went outside. This was after the branch was closed, so I hope RBC is paying that guy well for him to work overtime and have such loyalty to a corporation that is destroying our planet! Since RBC CEO Dave McKay made $15 million last year, I have a feeling that poor employee didn't see a bonus. RBC is tricking the general public and their employees -- they are not the good guys, this is a REALLY BAD BANK

Terrible time here, RBC doesn't know how to send money internationally whatsoever. After much headache on my end and little problem solving from RBC they still messed up my transaction and short changed my school 20$. Can the tellers not do basic math? They didn't even know what province Ottawa was in so possible they can't do math either. If you need to pay tuition with a foreign school do NOT use RBC especially this branch. They spent more time questioning the legitimacy of my school then sending my money. Horrifically frustrating experience that ended in them messing it up still.

Will never trust these people with my money again. Unbelievable incompetence

I'm trying to decide which bank to use in Smithers and Carey Pott is a financial planner with RBC, so I don't think I'll trust his rating. Especially since he rates the other banks really poorly. That's not cool!!

There is only 2 bank tellers in Smithers Bc .
Thats not fair to the workers when there was an 11 person line up before me also not fair to the most importantly the customers.
