Honestly, this review is long overdue as my last experience was amazing and am really grateful for. I was in a hurry and had to talk to the bank as I was doing a buyout and needed to make immediate changes to one of my accounts.
I had no idea, I would have to make an appointment to make those changes as I was originally trying to do everything over the phone.
The first lady at the desk explained everything but then quickly reached out to an adviser where the adviser agreed to help me make the changes right then and there.
Super grateful for the quick turnaround!
But noted, next time I will make an appointment.

I am with this BMO branch for more than 13 years, when Nadia was at front desk things were smooth and customer service was amazing, for last 2 years since that Chinese lady took over , things getting worse each time I visit that branch, she can hardly stand and walk. Absolutely zero customer service skills and zero happy customers after she serve them. Very disappointing service.....seriously thinking of changing bank

I have been banking with at least three financial institutions since 1990. I have to say with a fair degree of certainty that bank of Montreal is the worst business experience I’ve ever had to deal with in my time in Canada. They have policies in place that make banking very uncomfortable. I’ve lost hundreds of dollars due to their overdraft creative accounting strategies. Never in the past have I received so much harassment for being in the overdraft. They call me on a daily basis three times a day. Please avoid this financial institution that is only here in Canada to stress non-French people.

I left a message weeks ago and no one ever returned my call regarding my existing mortgage. When I phone today, I got a snarky response to my concern that I have to wait 2 1/2 weeks to get an appointment, other than the Friday afternoon of a long weekend slot that I was offered. I got better customer service from a department store regarding a $58 order. This guarantees that I will not be renewing my mortgage with BMO.

I went to deposit a certified check, and the agent wanted to put a hold it!!!! When I asked why, she was so rude to answer with "that it's our policy and that's all"
and she didn't have a name tag to know who I'm talking to, but when the manager came " Charlene" she actually helped and verified the check, and she has the best customer service ever.

1 employee working at this location daily. Bank deposits take 30-45 minutes at anytime of day, and get attitude if there is more then one to do every time. Extremely frustrating.
