Pretty much pointless in having. Every time I use it I have to wait an unreasonable amount of time. Been sitting in my vehicle for 4.5 hours at 33 degrees after they said they would be 3 hours. Then they called to say they would be another hour, after they were an hour and a half late. They were going to do another quick job.

can never phone directly to the ama store in Camrose, have to always go through a call center, very frustrating when trying to get insurance on a vehicle when you are out of town, multiple 1/2hr hold times and still no contact with anyone even emalied and no response

I think that this is the best place to go for your driver education because I have literally no complaints. My course worked smoothly the whole way and the in vehicle lessons were super helpful and taught me a lot. AMA IS THE WAY TO GO

At the tail end of May I was visiting family in Calgary and my vehicle died. I had a AMA tow truck driver by the name of Raz that was amazing. He tried everything he could to get my vehicle started but to no avail. He called in for another tow truck driver to tow my vehicle to a dealership. Both tow truck drivers were super polite and respectful. They both showed great AMA PR.

Totally disgusted to call today and get an automated response with plenty of options, but not one of them was to speak to a human! Using automated responses I was able to select the correct category for my questions, however the responses were completely out to lunch, not even remotely relevant...that's AI for ya! I went through it 3x, hung up & tried again thinking perhaps I missed the option to speak to someone but no joy.

Why is there no option to speak to someone when your silly AI fails? I don't live in town so it is NOT convenient to just stop in to ask my questions. You just cut the value of my membership in half. I was considering cancelling prior to next renewal, now I will cancel for sure.

The set up for reopening after Covid could have been better planned for the registries section. Standing on a dot for over an hour while clients in front of you get served is outrageous. When one thinks it takes about 20 minutes per transaction for registration, then book accordingly. Have people book in advance or log in and give them a time specific to come back to so they are not tired and angry by the time they see the registry office person.
The AMA needs to think this through better and devise a better plan.
