Yakob the mortgage banker at billing’s was so pleasant and competent to deal with in organizing a very short term bridge loan between purchase of new property and sale of old one. I can’t say enough good things about how easy he made it all seem, even though I know there were many hoops that had to be navigated. Thank you once again to alterna for making banking painless,

My mom paid for a bank draft. Bank drafts are certified funds yet I was told it was being held for 4 days.
What's the point of certifying funds if you decide that it's not worth anything.

I had here one of the best banking experience I ever had. Yakob was so professional and so knowledgeable. He guided me through setting up a SLOC and consolidating loans, which is kind of a lengthy process but it went by like a breeze. Thanks to the clear communication and fast response from Yakob. I always considered Alterna Saving as one of the best banks in Canada and my latest experience make me stick with them even more.
