Ricky Choi is an amazing insurance agent! We had a great experience working with him! He responded promptly to all of our phone calls and email messages, and provided great information. I have researched insurance companies recently because current policy expires soon. Different with before, it is getting too expensive to ignore.
Compared few companies for good service with reasonable price. Eventually, I choose Allstate Calgary North. Major reason is Ricky Choi's excellent work. He is knowledgeable, patient and professional. He gave me quotes of different options to choose from. Very helpful for me to make the final decision. Nice to get professional service like this because I don't know much about insurance - stayed with my previous company for more than 20 years without researching 🙁

My father-in-law has vehicle insurance with them for about 10 years, never had a claim, until recently. It's been almost 2 months since his accident, at least 5 phone calls (with long waits) to them where they always said the adjuster would be in contact in a few days...and no one has ever called. The true test of an insurance company is how quickly they settle/resolve your claim. Allstate fails on this. All nice with providing you with insurance and taking take your insurance payments, but good luck when you have to make a claim! After sales service non-existent. I would have given them zero star if that was possible.

Ricky was great to work with. He went above and beyond to walk us through switching all of our vehicles, house and trailer insurance to Allstate. He was very responsive via email and phone. I didn't have to sit on hold for an hour to reach him, unlike our previous agency. Highly recommend!

If I could give zero stars I would, worst customer service ever. I asked for a second and I mean a legit second not even 10 seconds a SECOND to get the phone operator information she needed and she hung up on me, didn’t help with a single thing just hung up cause that SECOND was so inconvenient for her although I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes waiting for help. I maybe got to speak to her for 30 seconds after waiting 30 minutes. Wish I knew her name she was so incredibly rude.

The only time I needed a service from them, they didn't give me any response. I am 8 months pregnant and someone hit my car. I called the same day, they gave me 3 days to get back to me and I never got a response. I called Rianne Gray, the person responsible for my complaint so many times and I only have the voicemail. I still have to prepare everything for the baby's arrival and I have to do everything by Uber because I can't take my car in for repairs because I haven't gotten any response from them. This company is a nightmare!
