I would like to provide some feedback regarding Allstate and specifically my interaction with Gavan Spence.

A couple of years ago, I was looking for a new insurance provider. I came across Gavan and from the moment we chatted, I knew I could trust him. Gavan is a professional that truly listens to your needs and requirements, then provides sound recommendations and advice! I would recommend anyone looking for insurance to chat with Gavan at Allstate, you will be happy you did!

Service charge Scams !!

I strongly advise against using Allstate. They impose $50 service charges for missed payments. I lost my credit card and needed to update my billing information, but dealing with their customer service was incredibly frustrating. Despite being on hold for 40 minutes and making several calls over multiple days, I received no assistance. Eventually, I had to email an Allstate executive who helped me update my payment information, but the company still charged me the $50 fee. The lack of responsibility and poor service in handling billing changes is very disappointing. Be cautious and consider these issues before choosing Allstate.

I have had the same car insurance agency for over 20 years. Unfortunately, my agency recently was acquired so wanted to shop around. I remember an agent GAVIN SPENCE, who I talked with years ago. After calling him up, he was the same impressionable man I talked to years ago. He goes that extra mile! He talked me through everything concerning my car coverage. Being a senior I am sure I had alot of stupid questions... but he listened and and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and understood everything.

Called to get pricing on a new truck as an existing customer. Part of their preferred pricing program through work. Rates went from 190/month to 489/month with a spotless driving record. I called three other companies and all three offered pricing close to, or lower than my previous amount. This company is a perfect example of what is wrong with this country now. Their corporate hunger and greed take money from hard working, honest people. Despicable display of greed and manipulation. Check out bel air direct, the personal or RBC insurance.
