I was a customer for over 20 years with Halsell insurance, which became GoTo, which was then bought out by All Coverage. Back when it was Halsell, service was awesome, but every time the company changed hands, the service got worse. We recently purchased a new house, and just days before closing, we were notified that we would not be covered for the new home because we were running a home business (we were not), and our agent did not even tell us directly, we had to phone and practically pry the info out of her. We were left scrambling at the last possible moment, and it almost caused the deal to fall through. When we later asked how the information got so distorted, the agent did not want to deal with us, and washed her hands of it. We switched all our business to a new broker, and new insurance company.
