I have been dealing with Gerald since last year regarding health insurance coverage for me and my partner and it's been the easiest process ever. Not only is Gerald informative, he is also patient with answering all our questions and concerns in a prompt manner.
I recently switched over to Desjardins for my auto insurance and Gerald was able to get me the absolute best pricing for full coverage compared to any other insurance company. He made switching insurance from one company to Desjardins a breeze.

Not too sure why the high rating. We had our house insurance with this company, 2 months before our premiums were due, we informed the company that WE WILL NOT BE going with them as we found a cheaper price with another company. We told them several times through their constant phone calls they kept up on us with. Finally we were told everything was ok (we signed with someone else-no issues so far from Allstate). Then 6 months later, we started getting calls from a collection agency.. curious as to why this is happening..we called this location only to be told that we owed them a cancellation fee. Not sure why this happened as we were told 2 months prior that everything was good for us to move our insurance to another company. To further clarify, we did pay this obscene amount.
If I could give this location and company ZERO stars , I would..
I highly recommend to anyone else to avoid this location and the company in general. Shady business dealings..this was our 2nd go around with the company (different brokers) and both ended up in higher costs and failure..

Absolutely horrible service.

Been going through them for three years. Initially it was ok service but has consistently gone down hill.

The most recent (and I find it no coincidence this is after cancelling my policy) was that I temporarily added a second vehicle to the policy, it was supposed to automatically come off at a set time. It did not. Got a hold of their manager who said he could back date it and give me a credit, which he did, but still never adjusted the overall premium and is continuing to charge me for 2.5 months of coverage for the vehicle that he gave me the credit for which makes zero sense.....while trying to communicate this the manager completely shut down and refuses to answer email or phone calls, referred me to the "billing department" in Quebec which has nothing to do with Alberta. The Alberta billing folks can't do anything as it is the agents responsibility....and were back to him hiding in his office refusing to communicate.

Hindsight being 20/20 I should have canceled this and gone through someone else a longggggg time ago when things started to get shady!

I would highly suggest that do not go to this Agents office for any of your insurance needs, none of the agents of this office is helpful infact, they are very rude and non co operative, I can go on and on with my bad experience here in Calgary. I am with this company from Toronto and I thought I will get the good service but in vain. Again very very bad service. Rest on you guys if you want to go within companybthennbe my guest.

Stay away! Absolutely horrible customer service.
Been with them for almost 3 years. I referred many people to them. But lately they don't answer calls or respond to any requests unless you follow up with them every day. I had to close my account and they charged me for one more month
