Absolutely brutal service, late for appointment unprepared and wouldn't cash my cheque. I have been banking with td for 25 years, this was enough to make me want to move banks.

Cancelled my appointment one hour before, and have not set up any replacement appointment for the same day. Customer made appointment for a reason. Will definitely consider cancelling my business with TD bank.

My recent experiences with TD Bank-Downtown Branch have been far from satisfactory.

During my initial visit, I interacted with a specialist whose attitude was highly off - putting. Even though they were engaged in customer - service duties and had a smile on their face, there was an unmistakable air of arrogance. Instead of offering useful advice, it seemed like they were laying down the law, which made me feel alienated and ill - at - ease.

Then, when I went to renew my mortgage not long ago, I was met with more disappointment. The specialist simply showed me the current mortgage rates and mentioned the recommended interest rate available on the TD Bank mobile app. They made no sincere attempt to help me get a better, lower interest rate. It was as if they were just presenting the choices and leaving me to fend for myself, with a "take it or leave it" mindset. This left me extremely frustrated. I had set aside half an hour for this appointment, expecting professional advice and support, only to realize that I could have found that basic information online on my own. It appears that the specialist didn't grasp the significance of a face - to - face meeting and the need to be proactive in assisting customers. To top it off, at the end, they tried to push other services on me, like suggesting me to invest more to RRSP or TFSA. TD, what's going on with your specialists? How can I have faith in your bank when I'm not getting any real help?

I've been a TD customer for 20 years, but these experiences have made me seriously consider moving all my accounts away from TD. I sincerely hope that TD Bank will invest in training its staff to be more customer - oriented and helpful. Only then can future interactions be more positive and beneficial.

It seems record profits for TD does not trickle down to their customers. Many locations have closed, not open Saturdays or past 5pm. It's easy to show profit when you shut down most of the services. The customer is always right, just not at TD Canada Trust.

Cancelled my card without my consent or authorization!!!!

I asked for my accounts to be locked. Instead they cancelled my cards and was told there was no chance of activating them again.

They wanted to replace my cards I've had for years. Refused to call customer service to resolve.

Would not let me explain what happened just wanted to talk over me. Very rude and unprofessional.

Take your business and money elsewhere. Horrible bank.

I am done with TD and giving them chances to fix their mistakes.

They don’t deserve any star, if there was a negative rating I will give that. So, cold behaviour non-cooperative. I had an appointment at 2:00 pm with my son today, he got an emergency meeting. I showed up there on time, kept waiting, one person came after 10 minutes. I took half day off of my work for this appointment but I was done in five minutes, she did not have answer to any of my questions, not ready to open a new bank account. What I asked, she has only one answer “no sir” Me and my son are existing clients of TD with numerous accounts of different products. I could not imagine, I had to see this day today.
