So thankful for the diligence, organization, communication and efforts of the Ellison team, especially Paula and Katelyn, who worked with me and my school on our recent trip to France and Monaco. A super personalized itinerary that we collaborated on with so many great stops, sights, and smooth transitions, a tour manager who handled all our needs, all the in-between pieces thought of - buses and passes and timings. An unforgettable trip that wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did without Ellison and their partners/suppliers. They did their best to make it affordable (which is so hard at the moment) and cut costs where able, which we had asked of them. And they have been open to feedback on our return of which things could be improved - so grateful.

From our first questions about organizing a school trip to having an amazing guide with us at our destination, everyone we have interacted with through Ellison has been wonderful. Due to the West Jet strike, my rugby team almost didn’t make it to New Zealand for our trip we fundraised 200,000 in under a year for, and Ellison was no help. The council for the taber rugby club did most of the work for rebooking the flights and finding options to get us there. When flights were rebooked, my mom and I’s last names had been spelt wrong for our flights, and we had been told numerous times that it was changed all the way through, when it was not, resulting in us almost not getting on any flights. Another instance was our coaches baby never having tickets for any flights, Ellisons fault again. Terrible. We’ve all agreed to never use this travel agency, or any, again.

I have been so impressed with Everyone we've dealt with at Ellison Travel in North Vancouver. Our choir booked a group tour as we were to sing at Carnegie Hall, at the end of March. All information was presented clearly and questions from individuals within our travel group of 100, were answered, our emails replied to within hours, and the level of service generally, was way better than I have experienced with any other service agency for many many years. With Covid-19, of course, everything had to be cancelled, and the level of attentiveness and service just got better after everything else fell apart. They even negotiated partial refunds on the hotel and flights for those in our group who had not purchased travel insurance. I'm sure they were losing all kinds of money, but they put customers first. If I ever get to travel again, Ellison will be my agency, even if I would normally just book everything myself. I will say that I haven’t worked much with travel agents in the past, but I will totally work with Ellison for future needs and recommend them to others. We had a group trip cancelled due to COVID and they worked tirelessly to get us refunds and were amazing about communicating with us at every step. So impressed. This is the company that will have your back! Post pandemic we need to remember and reward local companies who were professional and customer service oriented. Ellison fits that Bill.

I was a part of a group trip to London, UK. The planning and payment schedule was over several months so it began before Covid-19 struck.
The Trip planned for Sept 2020 eventually was cancelled. As you can imagine there were several phone calls and or emails to our representatives Trina, Paula and Nao. All call were answered in a timely manner and emails promptly replied too. It was a chaotic time for the industry but all my concerns and questions with respect to the refund of my monies was handled in a respectful and professional manner thanks to the staff members I dealt with. Like so many other people, I too had the disappointment of a tour being cancelled due to the pandemic. But thankfully, Paula and Dee came to my rescue with their knowledge and insight to help me fight the fight with my credit card insurance provider. Sadly the choice of accommodations were questionable and the restaurants provided for our trip were unpalatable and not worth the amount of money I spent for my daughter and I to do this school trip to France. Super disappointed.
