Been doing my taxes with sunny for years now, practically because it used to be close to my school and I was a loyal customer. The office assistant or the girl doing majority of the submission used to be great.

This year I did my taxes with them. The NEW girl submitting things is horrible to deal with. Took them 2 weeks to submit my taxes after they said it was already submitted. Once I followed up with them they asked me to sign the consent form again and that’s when I realized it wasn’t submitted. Then she lied to me about how the email wasn’t sent. While I had email threads proving that it was and then she lied saying the attachment wasn’t sent, once again I had screenshots. She had also lied to me after I asked her if I could claim certain things and instead of saying she wasn’t sure or would check back for me, she lied so nobody else from my family could claim it ( once again something I found out weeks later) . Yesterday I asked them to not submit my taxes over the phone and even emailed, only to see that it was submitted today. I asked them to refund me something ( not even the full amount) as I’ll work with someone else to now adjust my taxes and Sunny refused saying everything is expensive and 150 is already cheap. Now I literally have 2 T4s and a couple of donations and other than 2 weeks of emailing/calling back and forth also waited an additional 2 weeks for them to submit things, so idk how 150 is considered cheap. Sunny said nobody told him not to submit things ( kinda weird that after 2 weeks suddenly a day after I tell them not to submit things, they end up submitting stuff. Bare in mind that if they hadn’t received my signed consent form then how did they go ahead with the submission of my taxes. Long story short, I barely write reviews, but there were a lot of lies here and there that I just don’t have the patience to write about. AVOID them at all cost. My cousin who I have also been dragging with me was told she will not be getting anything and needs to pay CRA 200, she went ahead with a different tax place and is now getting 1800 back. I should have looked into better options from day one but once again I was trying to be a loyal customer. But times like this shows you if they appreciate your years of loyalty or not. Some screenshots for yall to see the time stamps between telling them not to submit anything and then them going ahead and submitting things so they don’t refund me.

Terrible! Messed up information on mine and my wife’s tax return. As a result my wife’s tax return cheque went to a random address (she has never lived there). When we called HM Tax asking to sort out the issue, they told us off saying they won’t do anything and it’s our problem to solve now. Few months later and we are still dealing with the issue and still haven’t received the money for the tax return.

Overpriced!!!!We paid CAD 992 for both me and my husband... We will never go there again for our tax filing.. I regret asking their services, too expensive. I should have ask another accountant that's not charging overprice for professional sevice fee..I.would not recommend this Tax Office...

I have live in over 20 countries, I have seen the tallest mountains and the hottest desert and now I can honestly say I have met the worst accountant in the world, someone call guinness records they are unbelievable bad they did every possible mistake they could on my company and it is a miracle I wasn't audited
