Omg, I can’t believe what they did. I get a call yesterday telling me my house insurance is canceled due to non payment. I have car and house insurance with them and have had for over 20 years. No missed payments , no claims.. I currently pay car insurance directly from my bank and house insurance once a year in full. I never received a renewal letter so was unaware it was due. It was due apparently Aug 19 they called to say it was cancelled Aug 21. No warning, nothing. My house could have burned down and I’d be unaware I wasn’t insured. To reinstate it call immediately and by the way it’s gone up $200 from last year. The rates I pay for both are already much higher than most . Now. Trying to find a different company they ask if I’ve ever been canceled for nonpayment. Allstate definitely do not value long term, no claim, always pay in time clients. I can imagine how they treat others. By the way. When I went on their website, there’s a huge message saying Canada Post mail interruptions… duh. I’m 70 and my house isn’t insured and I have to find a new company and I’m very upset

My phone call with Shahid was informative and helpful, he was able to retrieve and get all the information I needed with regards to my vehicle insurance. Something I’ve been dealing with for just a little over a month now. However the lower stars are due to my experience with the company as a whole and how my case was handled. If I could give separate stars to how I felt about the company vs my experience with shahid and the other staff I spoke with I would.

But I can’t. In fact id give one star to the company if the service besides my car insurance incident wasn’t great

I was charged 4 months for insurance on a car I cancelled the day I sold it to an auto wrecker. I only found out it wasn’t cancelled after trying to pay for a vet visit for my sick dog id been saving up for and been told I didn’t have enough. Insurance had charged me that day and I had to scramble to get money. FOUR MONTHS of payment they took from me for a policy I canceled. Yes I’m getting refunded after over a month later of me bringing it to their attention but this shouldn’t have happened. It’s left a sour taste in my mouth and has me reconsidering elsewhere for my current insurance with them.

I had a talk with Preeti Bhandari on April 11th as there was some issue with policy renewal. She knows her job and quickly looked after the discount that I was missing. She updated the policy. She was kind and helpful to talk. 5 stars.

Shah was the agent that helped me today! Shah was great, he was very personable, felt like I was talking to someone I had known for a long time. He was able to answer all my questions and was very detailed. Thank you Shah for making the process of getting my new vehicle insured!
Also need to add I have been having issues getting into the app, and have had no luck getting any help. Shah was able to get everything reset and I have access to the app again!
