I’ve been on hold for over an hour with Trend. I’m on hold right now! After I paid off my car, no one had the decency to call me and say “here’s what to do to close your account with us”. They had some random guy (I’ve never spoken to before), email me from an address I’ve never seen before and it went straight to my junk mail. I needed this paper work completed and have been pulled over by the police twice and threatened with arrest if this issue isn’t resolved. How can I possibly resolve this if Trend won’t pick up the phone? Also the paper work they have for my car is incredibly incorrect and there is no excuse for getting it wrong. It’s literally 1 car and the same car for years and years. How did another car show up on my paper work? PICK UP THE PHONE!

When my payments completed, my bill of sale was incorrectly filled out and was also incomplete. When I left a number to call me back, no one called after 3 tries. I got pulled over by a cop twice because of the paper work I need from trend. I've called multiple times and have been on hold well over 45 mins without so much as a quick "hey we're kinda busy, sorry to keep you waiting".

I have dealt with Trend Financial for a car loan. The worst experience of my life. The terms were discussed and unfortunately it was a big scam. Everyone you deal with ends up leaving so there are no repercussions.
My lease finished and it took 4 months for someone to contact me. I still am yet to receive my ownership.
All kinds of B.S. fees on top of the high fees to begin with.
I do not recommend and I wish I had the same way to review before I got sucked in. Unfortunately I could not give zero stars. I wish Google would add a zero star rating. I'm sure this company would have many.

I have just noticed that there was a posting in response to my review.
Nothing was resolved but I was contacted by a Trend rep. who asked if I could remove my post. I was offered $25 to do so. By the way its still here, because even for $25000 I wouldn't want the people who use google reviews to make an informed decision to be screwed over like myself and many many others out there.
Anyhow, now 10 months after my lease was paid in full and the vehicle in my name clear, I received an email saying I'm in arrears for something to do with insurance cancellation in July 2017, 4 months after my lease expired. This company is a complete joke and I wouldn't refer them to my worst enemy. BE CAREFUL!!!!!! Anyone thinking of leasing here, please I implore you, think twice. I wish I could give them an added zero star for harassment after the fact.

If I could give this company a ZERO star rating I would! firstly, their customer service is GARBAGE!! they do not care about their customers at all! being a first time car owner if you can avoid this 3rd party company please do!!!!! Being someone who bought their first car with bad credit is exciting and nerve-racking all at the same time! my interest rate is through the roof. which is expected.. I was able to get my car thanks to trend. I am currently a customer with trend and i am not pleased at all! I have been increasing my payments calling every 3 months for buyouts because I am so anxious to pay off my care being a young adult with lots of things to pay and goals to achieve this is so important to pay this off quickly. I had saved for a couple of months and made a 900 dollar additional payment. I called and asked for a buyout after that she sent me one but the cost was the same and I found that odd. she said she's call me back on this matter. Instead of calling me like she said she would. she sent me an email with the 1000 correction. no sorry, no phone call. Tell me how i am suppose to feel comfortable with a company like trend handling my money this loan that I am so desperately trying to get rid of if they are making big mistakes like that.. avoiding the customer, no apology and no type of customer service I called in and heard that some customers qualify for an interest rate decrease but because of one payment that was messed up a while ago but I am constantly change increasing payments and changing dates I missed it. :"its their policy 16 months of straight payments to be eligible for decrease." My point is there should be some type of customer service or type of happy medium for the customer some type of bend for customers especially when they made a mistake that was not handled properly it was basically fixed and I was ignored. the whole time speaking with this manager all he was doing was explaining on how the mistake happened and that was about it. He called me back with no intention of trying to make me happy, trying to again bend a little bit for a customer, who clearly is trying to do whatever in their power to pay and very upset and uneasy about the massive mistake that was made. ..

Very disorganized and non transparent glad my loan is paid of and good riddance to them! If you can go else where. I had a perfect payment with them for 4 years after almost 2 years in I found out they weren't even reporting it to the my credit report for on time payments. Cost me a ton of credit growth. When you have an issue they are slow as a snail to get back to you however harass via email text and phone calls to try and get you into a new lease despite saying no multiple times. Poor communication!

This company doesn't deserve a star for how they treat their customers. Very rude and condescending, and they like to talk over top of you rather than listen. They continue to take payments from your account even when the loan has been paid out in full, so buyer beware and proceed with caution before engaging with this company as you may also end up paying more for your loan compared to what was agreed to in your legal binding contract. Good luck trying to regain the funds that they over took. I'm confident that this company's goal is to treat their clients like garbage even though our payments pay their wages and help to keep their doors open for business. I guess that is the new trend these days!!

I got a vehicle from Trend financial. Less than 7 days there was a noise in the engine, the door was making noise, there was a noise in the wheel, the seat was so uncomfortable that I was having so much back pain, the vehicle slows down when I am in the intersection making a left turn or sometime driving it just slows down. I reached out to Daniel who I dealt with the financing at trend, he said I have to deal with customer service he can't do anything. After a bit of phoning back and forth I was sent to a mechanic outside of trend financial who said he could not find anything wrong. The back and forth with this company was horrible. They finally had me bring the vehicle to trends mechanic at the office on disco Rd. The mechanic said he fix the noise and turn off the light that came on. Threes weeks after, the light was back on again and the noise was back and every turn the vehicle slows down. I contacted Daniel again letting him know I want to return the vehicle. He said he cant do anything to contact customer service. Customer service don't want to take back the vehicle. They want to contact my warranty and tells me the safety is up and they can't do anything even though this vehicle was a problem from the beginning. They said if I tried to return the vehicle it will cost me and affect my credit. They said I could try to trade in. Really? After they give me a bad vehicle I did not even have for two months yet. This company is not a good company. They rip people off. Stay away from Trend Financial. If you don't want a problem vehicle and be paying monthly for a vehicle they refuse to take back or fix, stay away from them and people like them and go to a good company. This was my greatest mistake. This company prey on people who's credit is not that great and then they try to damage your credit in the process when The Vehicle They Sell You Don't Work. They sell you damage vehicles that they tell you they fix but they did not fix. The person I talk with in customer service which I will not mention by name right now was awful. Overall their customer service suck.

Run. Please please please run. If I could shake me from 3 years ago I would. I would have begged myself to wait a month and not deal with these crooks. The red flags started right at the start. Offering one interest rate then increasing it, then making me borrow even more for an increased “down payment.” Then they don’t stop taking the money for the extra “loan” 6 months later. Now at the end of my term after NEVER missing a single payment, they’re adding fees out of no where, for insurance cancellation a year ago? I changed policies to save money. My insurance was never canceled or lapsed. This was corrected with them immediately and no fees were told to me over a year ago. I got a statement last week and no fee was there.So I call to fix it, I’m told the fee is removed. I get a statement and it’s now been ADDED to my statement when it wasn’t there last week, rather then be removed. They’re affecting my ability to complete my new car loan with a reputable lender. Please go with anyone else. These people are crooks. Squeezing every last penny at the very end of my lease that I’ve paid on time every month for 3 years.
