Scam!!! Scam!!! The sales person is one of my client. I trusted him but that's wrong. I made the wrong decision to sign up the contract with them. They charged a lot of fees. Such as $5 statement monthly fee, $10 monthly maintenance fee, $179 annual fee which my sales person didn't tell me. After a year later I switched the merchant service to Heartland and they reimbursed our $495.00 cancellation fee from Merchant Lynx. The nightmare had not stop because they still keep debit $179.00 annual fee on Dec from my bank account. I got to dispute it. I got another debit $179.00 2 days ago. I have to call the bank again to found out what happened. It is big mistake to use this company....

They promised no fees, they slicked talked me into signing up for another machine because my "old machine" wasn't PCI compliant and they said I could be fined! So I signed up , within 6 days I had not received any of my money, over $10,000 was being held for no reason that could be explained. To top it off the "new better machine" caught on fire! I canceled the service after one week. But guess what? Merchant Lynx will not take back the machine! They said it was a separate form I signed with First Data and I'm stuck paying for a 4 year lease on a machine we can't use. Merchant Lynx said it wasn't their problem anymore.

Do not recommend this service to anyone, we're waiting for our contract to expire to start saving money on cc processing. We use them in another small business, the sales man set up 2 accounts - monthly charges on both accounts, when they finally terminated one account they wanted to charge a termination fee of $495. Now, after 18 months or more they decided to terminate our account with no explanation (I believe is because they do not want small accounts, not making their $$) but still charged us $495 - I really want business owners to avoid going thru this, like we had. Good luck with CC merchant accounts!!

I signed up with Merchant Lynx because a rep who worked for First Data switched companies. She advised me they were reputable! BOY WAS SHE WRONG! After lying about being able to reprogram my FD4OOTI units, they refused to let me cancel my account. On top of going back and forth for months while charging me $120 monthly, I was finally able to get to speak with a young lady who said they would apply my payments to the cancellation fee since I never used the junk units. Lol, that was a joke. Not only did they charge me for an additional month of service(that I never used) they also charged me $500 for canceling the service they couldn't provide! Janean Reynolds was my rep, and she is no longer with the company. I would love to post pictures of my contract with them showing exactly where they promised to reprogram my FD400s. Oh well, a lesson learned. Beware.....shady practices.

I have to agree with ever one star I would give a minus 5star if I could Benn in business 40 years and merchant lynx is by far the worst ever. always taking out all kinds of fees and hand to just stop the madness and end it .worst customer service I have had in 40 years. please listen to all these people with 1stars and save yourself from many headaches and losing your money and run as fast as you can from this company

Absolutely under no circumstances should anyone do business with Merchant Lynx Services. I have 3 furniture retail locations and the initial one was established using Merchant Lynx Services and the other 2 are with another service provider. I compared the rates I get from both and Merchant Lynx charges for basically everything and anything they can think of. I would always have to call in and complain in order to get them to take those BS monthly charges off. Also BE VERY CAREFUL OF THEIR $495 EARLY TERMINATION CHARGE EVEN THO THEIR STATEMENTS SAYS IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE FEE CHANGES WRITE THEM WITHIN 30 DAYS OR ACCEPT THE TERMS TO CONTINUE USING. I would never again use any of their services and I hope to God that no one will fall for this bs sales pitch again in the future. Good Luck.

Side Note: I have been notified that Merchant Lynx has denied my request to have Ipayment processing refund my cancellation charge of $495 due to rate changes that I did not agree to. I did submit a written request according to their terms.

According to their MERCHANT SERVICES PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS (PROGRAM GUIDE)

LOOK AT go to page 29 section 23.3

In the event we provide notice to You of any new fees or increases in existing fees for Services, pursuant to Section 18.5, You may terminate this Agreement without further cause or penalty by notifying Us in writing that You are terminating this Agreement prior to the effective date of such new fees or increases. However, maintaining Your Merchant Account, or Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any such fee changes shall be deemed Your acceptance of such fee changes for the Services, throughout the term of this Agreement.

I've Been Here At Merchant Lynx Services For Just About Four Months And So Far It Has Not Been What I Thought It Would Be Like. Its A Fun Family Orientated Company, Everyone Is So Nice And Encouraging. MLS Is Definitely Highly Recommended And There Is So Much Opportunity To Make Lots Of Money.
