Bullying is totally acceptable in this school system. The children who are bullied are the ones who end up having to find alternative schooling, rather than the bullies that do the damage

Someone called me the n word at CCJHS and the staff did nothing about it. The vice principal said that she would call the person down and it's been like 4 months it has never happened. No apology for saying it no PA announcement nothing.

The level of arrogance and incompetence from the "leadership" aka, do whatever the flavour of the day is, is disgusting.

They do not respond to legitimate questions or concerns and just hope you "go away".

Gary Adams is a joke and coward

it's great that they made the bathroom walls wider at nnec so the big people can get through and still use the "washroom" (if you could even call it that) in the vape room.

well, i have a lot to say.

school cancellations - school isn’t cancelled nearly as much as it should be. there could be snow half way up my door and only half of the streets plowed and there could still be school.

cafeterias - i know that they aren’t really owned by the school or whatever but like the muffins are undercooked and you can’t get them out of the wrapper, they’re somehow able to sell them with them still being liquid inside. sometimes the food is okay but it still taste like all of the ingredients are 99 cents and cooked with the cheapest oven they could find.

staff - they should do more thorough job interviews. nearly every year i have at least one teacher who doesn’t care about their job whatsoever, and takes out any stress or anger from their home lives out on their students. i’ve has years where teachers literally called students out, swearing at them for absolutely no valid reason. also, the principals listen to whatever they’re told first, not whichever side makes the most sense or is the actual truth.

updates - nearly every school in a rural area has windows xp computers downgraded to vista from like 2007. there should be more checkups on their safety and buildings that are actually serious, instead of covering up every single water fountain/bottle filler up with ceran wrap for months on end because one school in the whole entire province had a small about of lead in it. in a class i’ve had the ceiling collapse and splatter all over a chair, which luckily the person sitting in it had been in the washroom. if they hadn’t, the school could be dealing with some major problems to deal with for the student and their family, needless to say.

honestly, this school board — or should i say, “regional centre for education” just needs a whole entire revamp with the majority of their staff just flat out replaced. i’m sorry but there’s way too many things wrong with this place, more than just what i’ve said here. this place doesn’t even deserve the 1.6 stars that it’s earned on here, it deserves less than zero. anyway, this has been my mini vent session 😂😂 peace

They're putting into effect a "Bus planner" that's going to have me walk 3.3 kilometers every day for school. I am certainly not walking that distance every day. Glad to know my attendance suffers due to the horrible minds of the school board.

They got so paranoid about internet usage within schools that they blocked wikipedia. Not only Wikipedia though. Many valid sources have been blocked. All this does is create devide, as students who can afford mobile data can get their projects done using high quality sources and then students who can't afford it can't use the high quality sources and have to work harder to find unblocked sources.

Edit: unblocked now

Has one of the worst teachers ever Jude Moffat. She does not teach kids that need a little help and insults and demeans them in front of class. You can stay away from drugs and alcohol at home but not at school. You can buy anything you want in the parking lot. Go into bathroom and it is like a hot box. Place has some good teachers but bad learning environment. Needs to be cleaned up.
