Peter Marchl is a fully qualified Certified Financial Planner (not an easy designation to earn!). He is very personable, is focused on relationship building and helping you build a financial plan that you are comfortable with. You feel as though you are a valued client, not a monthly sales target.

I have been dealing with Peter Marchl since 2010, when he first joined Roland Laframboise’s team. Roland introduced me to Peter as his eventual successor of the business and that he was taking over some of Roland’s accounts. Peter and I instantly hit it off. I could tell immediately that Peter was a go-getter and was extremely focussed on client success.
I was among Peter’s first clients in Thunder Bay. At the time, my income fluctuated year-to-year but Peter was able to create an investment strategy for me to maximize my investment growth yet address my need to maintain emergency funds. Within a year or two, I noticed Peter was out performing any of my previous investment endeavours. After I was married, Peter helped us create a financial and retirement plan. In 2013, we left Thunder Bay and I was thrilled that Peter could continue as our portfolio manager. He navigated us through moves and career changes and the financial ‘crashes’ which occurred. We were amazed at how well we weathered the storm and we accredited this to Peter’s ability to read the markets and make smart investment suggestions to diversify our portfolios in the proper areas.
Peter puts in the time and effort to get to know and understand his client’s financial situation and is amazing at adapting to changes in family finances and changes in the market in order to create positive results for his clients. I appreciate that he is both a Certified Financial Planning and a Chartered Investment Manager and takes keen interest in getting to know his client’s present situation and future goals. Unlike the banks, Peter provides a personalised experience. His return percentages routinely beat the banks as well. Peter demonstrated his adaptability and portfolio building and management skills numerous times for my family.
I am still a client of Peter’s some 14 years later. In some ways, I am glad I am older than Peter and I hope he retires after I do so that I am not challenged with having to find another financial planner as good as Peter. He has simply outperformed any investments with banking institutions or other investment group that I have dealt with in the past.
