I've been with these guys for a few years. Every single interaction, without fail, is an example of what financial services could and should be in Canada. The phone is answered by a human, in-office, by the second ring. No phone tree to deal with. Everyone is kind and easy to understand. They haven't cheaped out on staffing - they have a secretary and an assistant, which seems to allow their advisors to stay on top of the important stuff without sacrificing on customer experience. If you ever get a chance to chat with Kevin, he seems like a great guy, but so are all of his staff.

Thank you to the whole team. I work at one of the big banks, and I forego my employee discount on home & auto insurance to give these guys my business instead. Definitely recommend.

The staff at Carruthers are alway very friendly, and explain everything so that you clearly understand what each coverage includes. Paying for a product that you are legally required to buy, but hope you'll never use, doesn't need to be an unpleasant experience; and it seems that the folks at Carruthers understand that. Today I spoke with Adam to change the vehicle on my policy. He explained what additional coverage would be appropriate for a new car, but with no pressure. Not long after, he sent me the documents I need to pick up my new car. Great service!

I had a car insurance policy and called a year ago to activate home insurance. I found out today, a year in, that my home insurance was never activated. For some odd reason, my rates went up the day i called last year... but the home insurance was never activated. This makes no sense, that mistake could of left us in a horrible situation. The manager didn't care.

She is distinctly knowledgeable and is always looking out for me. She just offered me 5% discount because I had winter tires, she offered this on her own!

Love this agency, I've been with them for over 5 years now, and to this day it is the best move I've done. This agency is warm, friendly, compassionate and they make you feel like family. They explain well and detailed, never make you feel like your loosing money or spending it uselessly. They are great at what they do and you can tell as soon as you step into their office. Keely has been a wonderful asset to this agency, she has aided with my policies since my original contract. I will follow them until i can't anymore! Excellent agency, feels just like family.

As a young driver this can be hard to come by, but Kevin Carruthers team makes sure to get the best possible price, they're extremely fast & they’re super helpful if you have any questions!
