My mother, a recent widow and loyal customer for over 20 years despite their subpar rates, and disorganized staff, had her insurance canceled by Cooke after having 2 payments bounce, unbeknownst to her as they had not bothered to get in touch with her. When she reached out to them they said it was too late and she would have to pay over $800 with the penalties to reinstate, not one iota of effort or empathy on their part. My parents had recommended Cooke to me when I first got my license and I canceled after the run-around I got with them when I was rear ended at a red light. Cooke insurance? More like overcooked, burnt to a crisp and rotten. Not surprised to see all the bad reviews and happy to add to them.

Not great to deal with when filing claims, you are put through the ringer talking to 3 different companies, they don’t deal directly for you & take care of the claims. .. nothing is done in a timely manner. They do not go out of their way to find best price. When we bought second car they missed out on having it insured with them because of their early closing time (3pm) Fridays. I wouldn’t recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Since being and feeling like a high valued customer at Martial and Associates for over 25 years...I recently in the past 2 to 3 years discovered they had been sold to Cooke insurance (not certain how long ago) and thought since the people that worked at Martial and associate's had continued serving me as such and had moved on within this company. My expectations were no less than before while expecting the same friendly service and being there to assist me and my family in providing us with the best scenarios of insurance as always. Without mentioning any names I am certain if I would have been able to discuss my certain situation with any of the managers above this person or even owner of this company would certainly take measures into preventing the terrible treatment I have received and would have taken the time to listen to my complaint as well as taken corrective actions to the manner in which I had been treated on the phone during the several phone calls I have had with this person. I had always kept my tone as a gentleman as well as respectful the entire time even while being extremely patient and careful during my call with this person although I should have hung up the phone immediately. I did explain to them I had been with Martial and Associates for over 25 years and the response was basically dont care take your business where you want basically....no attempt to try and keep my loyalty and commitment. I immediately considered checking out other insurance companies as well mentioning the treatment and the accusations I had received from this person at Cooke insurance. The moral of this story is that thanks to this I have found better coverage for same price I was paying at Cooke insurance. Something like this would not have happen while the people at Martial and Associates still would be working there. This person should not be serving the public or definately their line of work. I am an easy going person and was a gentlemen and if so I wonder how people in which have a short fuse that they deal with this person. Cooke must be losing money as customers would be leaving after treatment like that as well.

I hate that I can’t put less then one star.

This is got to be, by far, the worst insurance company in the history of insurance company’s.
I really hope people see this because Cooke isn’t organized, they don’t comunicate, they give you the utmost terrible service.
Just a really bad place to do business and I wouldnt expect more then 3 days notice to anyone who wants to hop on with Cooke, they won’t tell you anything about how much you’re going to pay u til ya maybe 2-3 days before.

I’m gonna be calling some type of head office because I just found out today that one of the “brokers/agents” there, have my information out to a random person who isn’t even related to me and told them everything on my record and what not.

Biggest mistake i ever made we supose to pay 275$ per month and they took 4 month to process our policy we called almost every week to see what was going on and every person we spoke to did not know anything and now we need to pay 450$ per month because of there mistake and and when we try to cancel they wanted to charge us 800$ and all that because they are low in staff this is unaceptable for an insurance company they could have tried to contact us and and fix something up. If i could put zero stars for rating this crappy company i would

I have been with this company for 7 years now. Each year they go out to market to get me the best possible rates at renewal. At one time a few years back my company was robbed. They handled the claim promptly and professionally. I am more than satisfied with their service

Not a very pleasant experience.
I called last Thursday to enquire about a substantial policy to cover my fleet, 8 pieces of equipment.
Today is 1 week later and I have not even had a callback.
Guess they do not want or need my business.
