They refused to assist in compensation for an evegreen tree snapped in two and uprooted by a GMC vehicle that fled the scene of my residence citing no license plate or other affirmative identification regardless of the existence of a police report and parts of the damaged vehicle. Est < $5,000

Hit a piece of debris on the Selkirk bridge.
Nov 30th. 2 flat tires and bend rims. Has to be towed.

Waited over an hour. To be told 5 dermis. $200 deductible. Waited another 45 mins on call transfer to Debate it. Sent pictures in email. Auto reply says 4days. Make me sick.

They basically force your hand.

Why does my vehicle have to be road safe but your roads & bridges don’t have to be.

Worst MPI I ever went to, staff is rude and does not even listen to you properly, they roll their eyes if a non white person walks in. When I first went their they said we take appointments only. After few days when I went their to book appointment they said we take walk-ins only. If you don't want to serve public sitting in a public office, there is no point keeping it open to public.

Dealt with adjuster Brett out of the Selkirk office. He went above and beyond and was in touch with me through every step of the process. I think the rental company I needed to deal with in order to process the loss of vehicle insurance was also really impressed. Thanks so much

I have to give this location a 5 Star rating! It’s the first MPI service station I’ve been to where the staff was friendly and very helpful! I took my dad here for his licence and vision test. He doesn’t speak any English. The lady that helped him was very helpful and very patient when explaining everything to him. It was nice to see and she went out of her way to make my dad feel welcomed and comfortable. When we were driving home my dad who’s 60 and recently moved to Canada from India, turns to me and says this is why people love Canada.

Called in to see what I all needed in order to get ID as mine expired. They told me marriage certificate, my lease, and to print out the form and get a doctor, lawyer, or police officer, to sign and fill out the form with me, to know them 2 years or longer, then I said what if I only knew my doctor for 20 months, the lady said that if I don't know anyone else then to just put in notes that is all I know and have and it shouldn't be a issue. I go walk there and pay my $20 get my pic taken, then I get a phone call saying it's not good enough, must be 2 years. Well I just told them on the phone everything I said here.. on top of it there is a doctor fee (not my doctors fault) anyways , I am very disappointed. Not happy and now I have to do all of this again in August. It's not fair, had they been truthful to begin with than I wouldn't of wasted anyone's time.

We need to get away from a public insurer. Staff was friendly and helpful enough but one insurer for the entire province cannot handle the case loads in a timely manner, and they offer no other options for making a claim other than phoning. Taking one month to get through to make a claim is completely unreasonable.
