We really enjoyed working with Kai, his team and his subs on our laneway house. Everyone was responsive to last minute change requests, and they provided frequent budget status updates to ensure we stayed on track. His team also provided a lot of feedback and suggestions to improve on the original design. We would highly recommend Standingbear for any size house build you might have.

From my first meeting with Kai I felt very confident in his teams' abilities to provide a quality custom built home. Having being raised in a family of contractors Kai and his team knew they would have their work critiqued. Kai and his team's attention to detail and quality has been outstanding. Kai responded to my texts and questions in a timely manner throughout the building process. I could not be any happier with the end result of our custom home. Kai continued to keep in touch even after occupancy to ensure that everything is working well and if there were any items that needed attention Kai ensured that they were addressed promptly and to our full satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend Kai and his team.

The guys from Standingbear built a ramp as my wife’s mother was moving in with us. The carpenters were awesome and did a fantastic job. They also helped with a couple of finishing touches on the cabinets in the newly renovated downstairs that brought everything together perfectly. A big shout out to Jonah and Chris for their hard work and professional manner. A big thank you to Kai, the owner for setting this up and getting it done quickly as we were on a really tight time schedule to get the ramp done. Thank again guys for a job well done!!😊
