I have entrusted Gold Investment Management (GIM) & Mr Jonathon Gold since 2007. Through the 2008 financial crisis GIM kept losses at a minimum & recovered before many of the other institutions even came close. The communication between GIM & their clients is second to none. Mr Gold does not take any investments lightly & has a solid financial background to assure the client is getting the best financial advice there is. He has a solid team working with him, & I would not hesitate to highly recommend GIM as an excellent investment Management Firm. Over my lifetime I have hired many different financial advisors/management firms, and by far GIM is the best.

After being with another advisor at CIBC for ten years with mediocre results, I opened up multiple trading accounts at GOLD Investment Management, both for me personally (and registered accounts) as well as for my investment corporation.
I personally met with Jonathon at their nice offices downtown Edmonton. We discussed my long-term financial goals, and decided that I'd have a variety of accounts ... some that I was hands-off (fully managed), and some that I would instruct GOLD as to which stocks to hold. GOLD also arranged for some of these accounts to be Margin accounts, which fits my needs perfectly for occasional short-term cash requirements. The fees GOLD charges for account management, currency exchange, and the interest on the Margin accounts are extremely competitive. Overall, I give GOLD Investment Management 5 STARS so far!!

I have been looked after by GIM for years… the couple negative reviews do not match the service I have received for almost 20 years. Paperwork is always complete, accounts are managed, questions answered within hours… There are very distinct rules and processes for investing and moving money. I suspect people with complaints are trying to withdraw money like an ATM or unaware of fees incurred.

This is a very respectable and professional organization.
